Hunter-style enterprise sales across AV, broadcast, media & converged IT. OTE $200K–$300K.

About the role

Aspire IT Systems is a technology solutions provider specialising in enterprise networking, network security, cloud infrastructure, and AV, broadcast & media integration. We work with enterprise, production, and media organisations to design and deliver high-performance environments that support collaboration, content creation, and modern media workflows.

We are looking for an aggressive, hunter-style Account Executive to drive net-new business across Canada. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to create pipeline, build relationships, and close complex opportunities in AV, broadcast, media, and converged IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities across AV, broadcast, media, corporate production, live events, and enterprise collaboration markets.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner engagement, referrals, industry networking, and direct outreach.
  • Open new accounts and develop relationships with broadcasters, AV integrators, production companies, enterprise customers, venues, and media organisations.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Work with internal technical teams and vendor partners to position integrated solutions across enterprise networking, AV-over-IP, wireless, switching, secure access, and media infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline visibility, and sales forecasting.
  • Represent Aspire IT Systems at customer meetings, partner sessions, and targeted industry events to drive net-new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business development, account executive, or solution sales roles with quota-carrying responsibility.
  • Proven success generating net-new opportunities and closing complex solution sales.
  • Strong background in AV, broadcast, media technology, or converged IT and AV solution sales.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networking, IP-based media transport, AV-over-IP, switching, wireless, and network security.
  • Working knowledge of AV-over-IP and media networking ecosystems including Cisco, Arista, and Netgear AV; audio & transport technologies such as Dante and Biamp; AV control/DSP ecosystems such as Q-SYS, Crestron, and Extron.
  • Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders with credibility and confidence.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in a remote, growth-focused sales role.

The team works with enterprise, production, and media organizations to design and deliver high-performance environments that support collaboration, content creation, and modern media workflows.

Aspire IT Systems is seeking a Junior Account Executive who is hungry to learn, comfortable with outbound activity, and ready to grow into a full Account Executive role. This position combines SDR-style prospecting with the opportunity to own and close smaller deals under the guidance of senior sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target accounts across AV, broadcast, media, and enterprise markets.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified meetings and new opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery meetings for senior Account Executives & Pre-Sales engineers.
  • Support the sales cycle with follow-ups, meeting notes, coordination of demos, and preparation of basic proposals.
  • Own and close smaller, well-defined deals and renewals under an approved pricing and packaging framework.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with senior sales and technical teams to understand Aspire IT Systems' portfolio (networking, network security, cloud, AV/media solutions) and clearly communicate value at a high level to prospects.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, inside sales, or SDR roles.
  • Interest in building a career in technology sales within AV, broadcast, media, and enterprise networking.
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and high-activity environments (cold calls, sequences, LinkedIn outreach).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence speaking with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Highly coachable, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to AV integrators, media organizations, or IT service providers.
  • Basic understanding of concepts such as AV-over-IP, video conferencing, or IP networking.
  • Experience supporting or shadowing full-cycle sales processes.
